The main focus of this subject comes in the defence. You can learn all the attacking spells in Charms, but this class is where you'll learn how to protect yourself and others from the dark forces of this world. From protection charms to how to deal with werewolves in their full moon, you will learn it here. Just don't meddle with any dark arts! Class open to all years.

There comes a time in everyone's life when a trip to the hospital wing is in order. Whether you've been gravely injured in the up and coming Second Great War, or you just have a pain in your stomach, all maladies can be cured right at school in the Hospital Wing. Extreme cases and you'll need to visit St. Mungo's. You can also gain a Healer's Certificate through the Wing.

For some of our students, muggle studies is simply looking at where they grew up, but for many it is the study of another world with strange objects used to take the place of magic. Three classrooms are located on this floor - making it central for students, as they are all useful subjects. Why not learn how to counter the dark arts? Or the history of where you came from? Or if that doesn't interest you, the history of the muggles and their curious ways? Also here is the hospital wing, which is run by strict healers making sure you get better without interruptions from your friends!
