Though the pain did not subside when Blake approached her and seemed to mutter a spell, she was sure she could feel the cuts pull together a little, and not as much blood seemed to be flowing from them anymore. Despite the pain, Kaelyn could not mistake the threat that he had left her with, and she closed her eyes for a moment, knowing that she would never find the courage to tell someone what had happened. And then, as though by magic, a face swam into view above her and brushed some of the hair out of her face. Such a notion was comforting to her, however simple it may have seemed to him. Kaelyn was sure she recognised her saviour, but at a moment like this she couldn't see his face well enough through her blurred vision to recognise which Alex it was. There were a few. But she could find out later and thank him then.
"Is he gone?" Kaelyn managed to whisper to the boy who was holding her in his arms, and she tried to pull herself up a little so she was almost sitting up. If he hadn't been there she wouldn't have been able to, and she took ahold of his arm and tugged on it a little. "Wait no, I didn't say that," the Hufflepuff urged, fearing Blake was still watching and listening and would know if she told anyone. "I didn't," she continued, starting to ramble as the blood loss began to affect her head. Her blue eyes locked on to those of the boy who she was sitting with and she tried to smile at him in return to his own, but it didn't exactly work and instead out came a pained looking expression. "I'll be fine - I just need - closing up-" Kaelyn muttered, having to stop herself from giggling at that in fear of ripping herself open even more.
