Wake up at eight. Clothes on. Breakfast eaten. Charms. Transfiguration. Quick run into the girl's bathrooms to check makeup. Defence Against the Dark Arts. Lunch. Then Double Potions. All day Kaelyn's mind had been spinning from the amount she had to do - all the homework the teachers were piling on them now their NEWT years had begun. For the next two years she was sure she'd never have a moment's peace. Kaelyn found herself staying behind in most of her lessons, just to get extra help from the professors who really didn't seem so eager to help her. Apart from the Potions professor. He had offered to help her with some of the more difficult potions, and she had agreed to stay behind after double Potions that afternoon to learn more.
Around an hour later, Kaelyn was done taking notes on the Polyjuice Potion they would be making in their next lesson, and packed up her books into her arms, thanking the Professor for his help. He wasn't the most friendly of people, but he certainly knew his stuff. Turning to shuffle towards the door, her body weighed down with books, Kaelyn finally reached it and stumbled out into the darkness of the dungeons. She shivered a little. The Hufflepuff had never been fond of the dark and damp areas below the castle. Sadly her common room was down here, though next to the kitchens, so the smell of the food took away from the smell of - well who knows what.
Closing her eyes for a moment and inhaling sharply, Kaelyn took off walking back towards her common room, her eyes fixed on the books in her arms. For a few minutes she became lost in thought about her exams next year - how she would do. If she would get where she wanted to be after Hogwarts. In those few minutes she managed to take two wrong turns and end up in a dead end corridor, facing a dark stone wall. Letting out an odd whimpering noise, Kaelyn pulled her books closer to her, wondering what to do now she was lost in her least favourite place.

Unlike some of the other students, Blake was very much on the low down and just taking everything as they came to him, what was the use of rushing when it was just so dull. Classes as well, something about them were just not bothering him right then, and he wanted nothing to do with them, but he had to. So that morning, it was getting up, making sure that he was at least clean, his hair smoothed and well the way he wanted it. Then it was down to the great hall with his friends, taking the time that he needed to get something to eat while he was there. After that it was some classes, taking the time it took to get through them, then on to some other classes, he was just passing by them, learning what he wanted to know and showing that he was a lot smarter then some of the other people that were in the class with him. Once that was done, he was off to lunch, oh, another great time to be in the same hall as a bunch of stuck up Ravenclaws, air headed Hufflepuffs and annoying Gryffindors, what fun, oh what fun that was.
Sending some spells n his head off, not really hitting anyone, because he was just thinking about it. He had spent the rest of the time that he had just blowing the rest of the classes off, and doing such a good potion that he had the rest of the time off. It was easy to get through something when you can buddy buddy, with people that were in about the same area that he was. Sure, he should not be making that a normal thing but he was not having a good day, so he wanted to use everything that he could to get away with anything that he could that day. Once that was all and done with, and some more food was in him, he had gone down heading to his common room, that was when he saw none other then another air headed, to him at least, Hufflepuff looking to be lost again. "Wow, to think, you have been here just as long as I have, and yet, you get lost in the one area that you should know the best. What is the world coming to, then again, Hufflepuff's are airheads, so i would think nothing less of one like yourself." He couldn’t help a sneering laugh as he stared at her for a moment.

Kaelyn had been staring at the dead end brick wall for quite a few minutes when a deep voice broke the silence, and the girl slowly turned around to come face to face with a Slytherin boy who was in a few of her classes. They had nothing in common apart from the fact they were on their house Quidditch Teams, and Kaelyn was dreading playing against Slytherin knowing how much hate her and her housemates would get. What was their problems with people who tried not to make enemies? Was that such a bad thing? Kaelyn inhaled sharply, and prepared a torrage of insults when the boy she remembered to be called Blake or something like that began to insult her for being lost. Of all the people she could have run into.
"I'm sorry - I was just," Kaelyn began, then scorned herself for apologing to the boy that had just insulted her. What was she thinking? She was never very good in confrontations, especially when they just stood their snarling at her. "I'm not an airhead, Blake. I've beat you in every test so far," Kaelyn finally remarked, quietly though as she glanced up at the boy before her. She wasn't exactly tall, and even though she wasn't tiny it felt like he was towering over her. Pulling her books closer into herself when she realised she had directly insulting the snarling Slytherin, Kaelyn offered a rather sheepish smile to him. "Although, I'm sure you tried your best -" she added suddenly, as though that would make what she had said much better and they would go off and eat chocolate frogs together as though they were best friends. Not quite.

He laughed loudly when she said that she was sorry, oh that was a peach to him, he couldn’t help poking fun at the little ones, they were so easy to get to. She seemed so much like the kind of person that he would make fun of, she was slow and a blonde. "Yeah, yeah that’s what they all say, oh there sorry for getting lost in there own school that they have been going to for ages. And then, yeah there sorry for being an idiot and for being slow and for all the other little things that you people annoy me with. Oh hush your whinnying and what not." He was in a good mood now as they were in the same area, and no one was around them, and he could do what he wanted and no one was going to tell him that he couldn’t, she was in luck that she had run into him, he was the worse of all the people that she could have had the misfortune to have run into on a day like today. He shifted, leaning on the wall and shoved his hands into his pockets with a laughed, she seemed so scared over nothing.
"Not an airhead? Now that is a laugh, and no, you haven’t beaten me in every test you stupid girl. There are many other tests and what not that i have beaten you in, and so proves my point that you are an insufferable air head that should have her small and stupid life ended so that we don’t have to put up with you any more. And what are you like, my mother tried your best, wow i mean really wow. I don't get you sometimes, you Hufflepuffs, always trying to see the best in everything." He sighed as he rubbed his face some, there was something so weird about her, and he just thought that maybe he should help her out and hit her with a hex or a spell, just something to send her on her ass. He shook his head some as he watched her, she was like a scared little mouse, just standing there, holding onto her book like someone was going to come along and take it from her, she was kind of cute, but he wouldn’t want to mix with her, he didn’t know what the others would say about him if he did something like that.

Kaelyn simply stood staring at Blake a little shocked when he began to talk to her and did not stop for a good few minutes. She picked up a few insults here and there, and could sense the frustration coming off him, so she took a few shuffling steps away from him. Usually when she picked up on frustration with her powers, she knew to not push the person any further or they would quickly escalate into anger. For the moment she simply stood with her book infront of her and let Blake insult her. Once he was done, Kaelyn felt one of her eyebrows raising slightly at his comment on Hufflepuffs always seeing the best in people. Oh that's not true Blake, you ass, Kaelyn thought to herself, though quickly placed a kind smile on her face that would probably make Blake ill at how sweet it was. That was the only way she knew to attack people; with kindness.
"It's hard to see anything bad in you Blake, dear," Kaelyn finally found the nerve to retort, as she gained the confidence to move forwards. They were still in the dead end corridor and she was feeling a little unnerved that Blake was standing between her only way out. Stopping just infront of the Slytherin, Kaelyn peered up at him with a curious look on her face. "You might think you're smart for doing this now - but -" the Hufflepuff began, then once again felt rather intimidated by the boy's height and lowered her head a little. "Never mind," Kaelyn quickly said, deciding not to anger the boy anymore than she probably had. Her clear blue eyes peered around the boy to the freedom beyond him, and she half considered making a run for it but that would only prove what stereotypes he thought about Hufflepuffs to be true.

"Oh will you SHUT UP! You are, if anything the most annoying girl that I have ever had the miss fortune to run into. I mean really, is all you do is talk." Ok he was dumb, he is not that smart of a guy but he has his ups and down and for the long and short of it, he is a rather interesting kind of guy but he was mad. And kind of insane and you put the two of them together and you get a wicked thing, that was where he was at. "You my dear are going to pay for ever thinking that you could get away from me, we could so use someone like yourself as a well, zombie to do our work. How would you like that, being used for anything that we would want to use you for, and no one would get to know what happened to you." He smirked, oh she needed to hit him, that was about the only way he was going to shut up, if she actually did something to him, and he wouldn’t mined it that much either, there was so much to do down there anyways he was bored.
He moved right up into her face for a moment, looking at her he had a smirk on his face as he came up close to her. He was going to see what she was going to do to him there, like she could do anything he was thinking. He smirked once more as he reached out and went about trying to take her book from her. "Come on my dear, you know its not that scary down here, and well, we could have a lot of fun as well. Who would know what was going on down here, all the things that we could get into. Besides, you wouldn’t remember that much either after. Ew, wait no never mind, you just want to go don't you, just skip on back to your little common room with all your little brain dead friends. You are to good, people like you should be hurt because your to stupid to know the difference." He yanked her book from her and turned as he started to walk down the hall from her, flipping through the book that he had in his hands, it was interesting, well kind of interesting in the least part.

The Hufflepuff found herself jumping a little when Blake shouted at her to shut up. As far as she was aware, he had done most of the talking so far, so she remained a little confused about this until she felt an overwhelming wave of anger coming from him. Almost stumbling backwards from the wave, Kaelyn blinked a few times and then realised Blake was still speaking, this time about how no one would know should he choose to use her in his plans - which she wasn't quite sure what he meant. Surely he couldn't be affiliated with the dark arts, though she had been told the Death Eaters were returning. What if she was talking with one of them right now. Kaelyn's eyes narrowed when Blake almost dared her to do something to him, anything. She could sense that was his intention, and she stood slightly stunned even as he grabbed the book from her arms.
Before Kaelyn could even let out a gasp, Blake had turned and walked away from her, still carrying her book and looking through it, it appeared, from the movement of his arms. For a moment Kaelyn frowned, and watched him move away from her. She could either let him just leave, what was one book anyway - it was only made of money. Or she could stand up for herself. After carefully weighing up the two options, Kaelyn moved past Blake in a quick stride and continued on past him, not even bothering to glance at him as she went by. "Have a nice day, sweetie," was all the Hufflepuff called over her shoulder as she made off down the corridor. She knew Blake would not let it settle at that, and she felt a little afraid for a moment that she couldn't see him behind her. What if he was busy pulling out his wand at that very moment, or was about to hit her over the head and leave her there, lost in the dungeons with no clue what had happened? Kaelyn shuddered.

Oh that got him, her calling him sweetie, that was funny. He was sure going to have a good laugh after something like that. She was going to pay for ever thinking that he was going to let something like that stand by him, and it was so funny that she had jumped when he had yelled at her, she was so easily taken advantage of, he was so into this kind of thing. She was the silly one and he was not going to take this for all it was worth. She had walked by him as he was walking away with her book, it was amazing she left herself open for such an attack and she had no idea that it was going to be come. He bounced along after her with her book in one hand and his wand in another hand, he had to think about what spell and how he was going to do this now, she could easily just be tripped or he could do something more, and get her really lost and forgotten for good. Thinking, he had to come up with something quick or she was going to get away and then he would never have another change like this again.
He bounced a moment as he watched then had it as he swished his wand and sent a spell hitting her square in the back with a body binding spell and giggled. Yes he giggled as he moved over to where she was and looked down over top of her. Now he had a nasty smirk on his face as he crouched down over her with a grin. "My dear, next time you will learn not to mess with a Slytherin, you are a very, very stupid little girl and I hope someone does find you soon, but I don’t think I will do it. No, no someone else will come along and find your sorry little self and set you free. It is amazing that you have lived so far, i would think someone like you would have gotten themselves killed by now. Though, i will not just leave you here, not right here at least nope." He laughed a moment and then levitated her up and took her with him down the hall, stopping where it branched off from where she was to the hall that took her to the common room she was in, he laid her down and put the book on top of her chest and laughed standing over her for a moment then started to walk away.

Just as Kaelyn began to realise the danger she had put herself in by placing her back to Blake, she felt something hit her roughly in the square of the back. The force sent her flying forwards on to the ground, and she managed to roll over as she fell, landing on her side and unable to move her body. All the Hufflepuff could do was stare up at Blake as he moved into her field of vision and set her Potions book on her chest. Oh if looks could kill, the look she was giving him right now would have done just that. His words cut into her stronger than the force around the body held her.
The Hufflepuff found herself trying to move her lips; to say something at the Slytherin. To yell for help. She felt his anger subsiding, and could now feel waves of amusement coming from his body, and that only made her madder as she felt her own body sweep over with rage. He levitated her along the corridor a little further, and set her down in a place that she recognised, near her common room. Well that was awfully nice of him. And then he began to walk away. That good for nothing - Kaelyn began to rage inside her mind, and then he was out of sight completely. The darkness was pressing down on her and she stared motionless at the corridor that led to her common room. Part of her wished that all Hufflepuffs had a physic connection, so they knew when the others were in trouble. But knowing some of her housemates, they would be afraid of such communications. It took what felt like hours, but was actually around half an hour for a Hufflepuff to come strolling down the corridor, their eyes widening when they saw Kaelyn lying in the middle of the corridor with the book on top of her. After a few bumbling movements to get his wand from his robes, the Hufflepuff had taken the spell off Kaelyn, and she stretched her body for a brief moment before springing to her feet, knocking the book to the ground as she did so. Bending down to pick it up, Kaelyn stared at her saviour with wide eyes. "Have you seen that rat Blake - you know the tall Slytherin - always getting in trouble?" Kaelyn asked the boy, almost wanting to grab him by the arms to shake up and hurry him up. But after a few moments of thought he told her he thought he'd seen Blake around ten minutes ago up in the entrance hall.
And so Kaelyn set off for there. Her clear blue eyes narrowed in determination and her Potions book secured under her arm as she moved quickly through the dungeons, taking the route that she knew from the Hufflepuff Common Room to the entrance hall. In a matter of minutes, she arrived into the bright light of the Entrance Hall and sure enough saw Blake sitting at the foot of the grand staircase, surrounded by some of his Slytherin friends. They were all laughing away about something; no doubt he had told them about her. Not stopping to think about what she was doing, Kaelyn took off in a stride towards him and when she reached where he was sitting, she brought her Potions book down roughly into the side of his face. She was feeling confident, maybe because he seemed so defenceless sitting down and enjoying himself. Because the moment the book collided with his cheek, she backed away a little, beginning to regret that she had actually acted. "There, is that what you wanted you good for nothing snake," Kaelyn called to him, though she didn't actually use the word snake. She was overwhelmed by the anger she felt coming off herself at that moment, and she felt spurred on by the fact that others were watching. The entrance hall seemed to have gone quiet at that point, all eyes on them. "You got it, you got a rise out of me - how does it feel?" the Hufflepuff added, taking tiny steps away from him in fear that he would stand up and lash out at her.

Oh, cone Blake had let her go, and had gone off to go and do something else he was in a lot of a better mood then he had been at the start. She was now laying in the dungeon and he was off to meet with his friends now. He was having a good time, it was just silly that she would think she would get away with anything that could happen there. He had ran into his friends and sat down on the stairs telling them about it. How she had thought to make him mad like that, and then how she thought things were going to happen. He told them about how he had bound her up and left her there, left her to rot along with the other things there, sure he told them he left her so others would find her, just so that he could have some nice things about him as well. He worked on telling the story and making sure that they knew everything, and that they would be able to tell the there people about it as well, this was going to make a fun time for the common room later that day, he would make sure of that. Little did he know someone had already brought her about and she was coming for him.
He was laughing loudly that he did not see she had come up from where she had been, and was making her way over to where he was there. It was hard for him to tell because he was laughing with his friends and making sure that they were having one hell of a time as he was. When she came up to them and he felt the sharp pain of the book hitting him in the face he had to stop, everything stopped and everyone was looking at her as she was yelling at him. She had spunk to think that she could get away with something like that. Standing up again, so that he was taller then she was he looked at her dead in the face, the kind of look that could kill if all things were going to go the way that they were. He slapped her, and pretty good with hat one, he didn't care anyone was going to see that as he was so pissed off at her, and she was going to know it. "You made a big mistake, not now, not this week, but you are going to pay, and you are going to pay so dear that you are going to wish that you were never born. I promise you that, you little git, watch out, and never go alone, you are on the hit list." He growled before turning and with his gang walking away form her.

The satisfaction of the heavy Potions book colliding with the side of Blake's face was quickly overtaken by a wave of anger even stronger than that which Kaelyn had felt coming off the Slytherin in the dungeons. Now she had gone and done it, and as he stepped up to tower above her once again, she felt a shiver run down her spine. What had she gotten herself into? Why couldn't she have just gone back into the Hufflepuff Common Room and be fussed over by that nice Hufflepuff that had helped her out of the binding spell. But nothing could prepare her for force that hit her on the side of the face, and Kaelyn quickly raised her hand in shock to touch her cheek where Blake had hit her. She had never been hit before, and the first person she expected it to come from was not from a Slytherin boy all because she had hit him with her book.
Kaelyn's eyes remained unblinking as Blake began to shout at her once again, and it took her until after he had turned to walk away to finally remove her hand from her burning cheek and say something. And that something came out with a flick of her wand which she wipped from her robe pocket and directed at Blake's back. "Incendio!" Kaelyn chanted, aiming her wand fire at the back of Blake's robes. Maybe he wouldn't notice at first, but soon enough he'd feel his back getting hot and realise he was wearing a set of robes that were on fire. She knew deep down she should just let it go, but he had gone too far by what he did. Kaelyn waited a few moments to give Blake a chance to realise himself that his robes were on fire, and then she lowered her wand a little to her side. "Don't you dare lay a hand on me again," the Hufflepuff threatened, though she began to take a few steps backwards, which contradicted what she was saying. "We all know the only reason you can have a little hit list is because of mummy and daddy's money."

Satisfied with the way things were going, he was going to let it go at that, she was going to get off with the warning and just let things go. He was going to be nice, a little bit but she was going to push it way to far with him, and he was not going to let something like that stand for anything. He could care less who was going to see, seeing that he had nothing more then some issues with stupid people like that. His friends were with him and they were going to walk out of there, just walk on and not deal with anything until he had felt his back getting rather warm, and his friends shouted that he was on fire. They helped him put that out as he was now looking back at her, she had just pushed it, just did the one last thing that was going to piss him off to no end. She told him not to touch her and that he cold only do the things that he wanted to do thanks to his mother and father. Taking a moment he pulled himself together, he made sure that he was all out and that he could do what he needed to do now. She was going to pay with her life, thanks to that he was so pissed off it was a scary thing.
She was asking for it now, he had to do something, something that would shut her up and shut her down, something that would make her get off of his back and he could care less who as going to see this. He turned and casted a spell sending her flying into the air and just hung there as he growled, really growled at her as he was so pissed off, he had never been so pissed off before, and he could care less now about anything else. "YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR EVERY THING THAT YOU HAVE SAID! YOU ARE WORTHLESS YOU WORTHLESS PISE OF CRAP, DONT YOU EVER TOUCH ME? YOU WILL FEEL MORE THEN JUST SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!!!" He was yelling so loud as he pulled his wand and had her land on the ground with a thump and he laughed evilly and loudly about that now as he knew what to do now. "Sectumsempra!!!" He said yelling pointing his want at her, knowing that it was going to hit and what it was going to do, she was so going to pay for it.

The explosion of anger that hit Kaelyn harder than his hand had minutes earlier sent her stumbling backwards a little. That was one of the downsides to feeling what other people felt; having to go through every piece of pain or anger that they were going through. She closed her eyes briefly and closed off her mind to the greatest parts of it, as she was used to doing, but was still left with the feeling of wanting to murder someone. Oh god, had he really been pushed that far. She was about to find out, because not even the amusing look on his face when his robes started burning could make up for his words. Kaelyn had to admit, she was scared. He seemed the sort to have connections with the dark arts, and with the death eaters, should they ever return. Oh why oh why had she been so stupid. She should have just kept her mouth shut -
In a moment Kaelyn was lifted up into the air and dropped down to the ground, though the pain of hitting the stone floor was like a paper cut compared to the blinding pain that hit her in the chest. For a moment, the pain subsided. It hadn't been all that bad. She had been sent flying onto her back on the floor, and she slowly raised a shaking hand up to her chest, and then the pain registered to her. The front of her t-shirt was ripped open, and it was covered in what she just knew to be blood. She didn't need to open her eyes, she was too afraid to do so and confirm it. Kaelyn let out a quiet moan of pain and she vaguely saw some blurred figures moving in to look at her, concerned students who had their hands covering their mouths in shock. Was it really that bad? She could see her t-shirt was completely red now out of the corner of her eyes, but she didn't dare to look at what had happened underneath it. Shifting her body a little to try and get more comfortable, the pain only worsened as it felt as though she had opened up one of the cuts a little more. A gasp of pain escaped from the Hufflepuff's lips as she drifted in and out of consciousness. "I'm - sorry," Kaelyn muttered quietly, not sure who to or why. She was half delusional at this point, and she could feel the hands of someone on her arm as though to reassure her, and the sound of shouts and groans from others around her ...
What had happened to Blake and what he was thinking was the last thing on her mind now. She needed help, or she feared she was not going to make it to get revenge on his ass.

Oh, now he had done it, he had let his anger get to him and there she was bleeding to death. This was just perfect, what had he gotten himself into and now he knew that he was going to be in a lot of trouble, if he could not get Dean to help him out now. He moved over to her scaring the other people away as he did so and knelt down looking at her. "You tell a soul about this and you will die regretting it, now that you know what I can do." He said before jabbing his want into her and casting the counter spell just to stop the bleeding, but the cuts were still there and all that, she was still going to hurt, but she was not going to bleed out. She was going to feel this for some time now, and he was sure she was going to keep her mouth shut, it was the most things could do. He got up quickly and looked around, he moved his wand quickly and erased it out of the other peoples minds about what went on there, he then moved with his friends and got the hell out of there, heading to there common room where they knew there was safe spots there and disappeared from there.

How hard could life be? A day like this wasn't going well for Alex, I mean for Christ's sake the homework was stacking up, and here lay Alex asleep on a couch in the Slytherin common room. He heard a commotion going on outside in his sleep, which jolted him to visions of things usual fifteen-year old's dream about: it reminded him briefly of Voldemort in his sleep, which conjured an image of his face in an old newspaper. So many years had passed since then, but it never meant Voldemort isn't at the roots of the current problems; Death Eaters. Alex jolted in his sleep at the sound of gasping, obviously at something peculiar. Alex being Alex, wanted to go see what was happening but he didn't want to blow his mission. It was only when he saw Blake go by he thought to go out.
As he left the common room, and followed the gasping to his roots, he came upon a hufflepuff lying down wounded. Blood was in her clothes; soaking up the stone floor aswell. Alex ran to her and got onto his knees, he yelled for help but nobody cared they passed them. "Hey, hey. I'm gonna get help, you'll be alright. All I ask is that if you feel pain, tell me" Alex spoke after brushing the hair from her face. "By the way, the names Alex.." He smiled.
