A portkey had been delivered late that evening to the dusty head office of the Ministry. Two desks were in the cluttered room, one for Logan himself and the other for Leila, the Deputy Minister who had been holding that desk before Logan had been promoted just over a year ago. She had greeted him with some hostility when he first placed his box of office supplies on the main desk, and the office never seemed to quiet down with their constant arguments and attempts to undermine each other. Logan really couldn't see why Leila had such a problem with him, and so he convinced himself that she admired him. Well, close enough.
The clock on Logan's desk had just turned seven when the two Ministers assembled in the office, and Logan peered down at the form the portkey had taken this time. A rolled up newspaper that was yellowing in colour. Checking the clock on his desk, Logan nodded his head at Leila reached out to touch the newspaper before him. In a whirl, he was transported to an isolated cliff face, where the rain was raging and a storm was brewing up above them. Turning around slowly, Logan regained his composure from travelling by portkey and came face to face with the high built walls of Azkaban. They were here to talk to a prisoner who had been caught in Godric's Hollow following a spree of murders there. He claimed to be a Death Eater, and would only speak to the head of the Ministry himself. Logan had taken a short ego trip on this fact, before realising the man could have been wasting their time.
"Come on then, keep up," Logan suddenly remarked, marching towards the fortress before them and casting a glance over his shoulder at Leila, making it seem as though she was falling behind. "Apparantely he's been dying to see me,"[/b] the man added, moving closer to the entrance and being bowed in by a disgruntled looking guard. "And I'm sure he'll be happy to see you too,"[/b] Logan informed Leila with a smirk as they began to make their way through the winding corridors of the prison, ignoring the calls and shouts from the prisoners on either sides of the corridor. In what seemed like a hike from the entrance to the middle of the prison, Logan came to a sudden stop outside of a heavy brown door, bolted shut to show it was an area of high security. Inside, Logan could see the room was split in half by iron bars, so they could stand on one side and freely communicate with the prisoner. "Right, ready? Let me do the talking darling,"[/b] Logan whispered to Leila with a chuckle to himself, before he pushed open the door and made his way into the jail cell ..
