Celia Annaleigh Maddox was never one to waste time. She could always be counted on to do what was needed with the time that she was given. And so it was no surprise that the young Ravenclaw was in the library on a Saturday afternoon, when most of the other students were enjoying the time off. If asked why she was spending her Saturday in the library doing homework, she'd smile and say that being well prepared was much better than having a 'good time', after all, what good ever comes out of being ill prepared? But what most people didn't know, was that she never did homework on Saturdays. All her homework for the week was done by Friday, and if for some reason she couldn't get it done, than she saved it for Sunday. Homework was something that she didn't even think about on Saturdays. No, they were reserved for her independent studies. At the moment, she was studying advanced transfiguration, reading about things that were just barely touched upon during the school year.
Learning things that they weren't taught in the average class was important to Celia. She liked to be the most well informed person around. And she liked to know things that could help her out in the long run, whether it be a spell to stop her enemies, or stop a run in her stockings, she wanted to know them all. It was just how she'd always been, curious, and curiosity doesn't disappear with age or knowledge, but gets stronger. Finishing the book she was reading, Celia closed it with a snap and got up from the table she was sitting at. Walking toward the shelves, she tried to remember where she'd gotten the book from. It was a transfiguration book, so she went over to the section that housed those books. Finding an opening in the book shelf, she double checked to make sure it was its proper place, and put it back onto the shelf. Looking at the other books, she tried to locate one that she had yet to read. Seeing one up on the higher shelf, she tried to reach it, and failed. Checking to make sure she was alone, she decided to cast a spell to get the book. "Accio." she whispered, and watched as the book came to her.
