It’s been over ten years since we last heard from the gang, and things have changed greatly. They all grew up, and as a result grew apart. Otto Rocket left Ocean Shores at seventeen to become a famous surfer. After winning numerous trophies, Otto’s living the high life, and hasn’t been back to Ocean Shores in years. For a while it seemed like Reggie was the glue holding the gang together, but then she too moved away for college and the fast paced life of New York City. As an NYU student, she traded in her skateboard for high heels and now that’s she graduated, she’s accepted the socialite lifestyle that came with her new set of friends. The only one out of the gang that hasn’t left Ocean Shores is Twister Rodriguez. Currently he’s attending a local art school and living the simple life doing the things he’s always loved. Closing out the group is the Harvard University graduate, Sam Dullard, or Squid. After becoming the football superstar in high school, he’s no longer the incredibly geeky boy that he was once was. This summer, things are different. The entire gang is home for the summer, but not for a good reason. Hometown legend, Tito Makani passed away and the gang is back to pay their respects to one of the most influential people in their lives since they were young children. Now that they’re all back together, will childhood friendships be reborn, or will secrets be exposed that leave relationships in complete ruins? As the ancient Hawaiians used to say…WE ARE THE BEACH BANDITS.
